How to travel from Nis to Sofia

Niš to Sofia is one of the easiest cross-border hops in the Balkans. The two cities are 165 km apart on the well-paved E80 highway via the Gradina (Serbia) – Kalotina (Bulgaria) border. Direct daily coaches make the trip in 3–4 hours including border checks, departing from Niš Bus Station and arriving at Sofia Central Bus Station next to the train station.
