May–June and September. Avoid August (40 °C, locals leave).
Public transport
Trams and trolleybuses cover the centre; tickets 50 RSD on board. Bolt and CarGo are cheap (€2–€4 across centre). BusPlus card sold at kiosks.
Airport
Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) — 18 km. A1 minibus to Slavija square, 300 RSD. Yellow taxi fixed-fare zones: €18 to centre.
